Keeping Signage on Brand at Kreg Tool’s New Headquarters
As a company that lives in the woodworking and DIY world, it was imperative that their signage reflect their brand. The light wood, a White Oak with a matte finish, matches other wood in the building and the ½ inch thickness conveys the sturdiness of this steadfast brand. When our team consulted on naming options for the meeting spaces National Forests was a leading option. It was a good fit and was chosen. These signs use our Direct Digital Print technology for the raised text on the wood and black surfaces. The room names are raised and include braille. Check out the whole project.
Linear Corporate Signage Compliments Carson Group’s Angular Facility
This project is more well known for the ‘stop in your tracks’ history wall, but we couldn’t overlook the clean simplicity of these ADA signs either. Everything about this facility is angular, the roofline, the window vinyl, the history wall. That’s when it’s nice to take a layered, linear, and clean design for the ADA signage throughout.
Apartment Signage Helps Create an Extraordinary Experience at High Point at 8000 North
This brand new high-end high-rise apartment living complex in Skokie, IL boasts “where arriving home is an extraordinary experience.” The sleek and modern interior design of this facility needed an equally modern looking sign system. This custom sign design utilizes a Gray Ash Foil with Direct Digitally Printed raised text and braille. The soft curved top and bottom along with the horizontal patterned backer compliment this modern facility.
Library Signage With All the Angles at West Des Moines Public Library
As part of newly renovated spaces, originally built in 1996, the West Des Moines Public Library brought in more of a geometric design to some new furniture that also influenced the new sign design. These signs are created using Direct Digital Printing or “DDP” technique that can print varying thicknesses, all in one pass.
Historic Renovation Signage at Hoff Family Arts and Culture Center
These custom mill-work and stained wood signs bring together the design intent of the space with the donors who contributed to making this facility a reality. Raised and applied room numbers satisfy the ADA Sign Guidelines and Direct Digitally Printed “DDP” room names make clear the function of the room. The aluminum note bar below the sign allows paper schedules or events to be displayed when needed. See the rest of the project here.
Simple Signs for an Inspiring Mission at UNMC Munroe-Meyer Institute
These signs have an understated simplicity as to not detract from the great things the team at MMI are doing. These photopolymer signs keep in line with the existing design standards for University of Nebraska Medical Center. Check out all of the signage from this inspiring organization.
