Meet Matt Seidl, Iowa Sign Expert

A Des Moines native, Matt Seidl, has recently joined our Iowa Business Development team. We asked him a few questions to get to know him.

What is one thing you want your customers and partners to know about you?

I’m huge on follow-through. I say what I do, and I do what I say.

What 3 words would you use to describe yourself?

Loyal. Dependable. Independent.

What aspect of joining this crew have you enjoyed the most so far?

The people. The size of our company is refreshing. I’m coming from a large corporation where most of my co-workers were overseas and I’d never met in person so I’m looking forward to building relationships with co-workers as well as clients.

What most surprises you about what you've learned so far?

All. The. Signs.
Coming from outside the sign industry, it’s amazing to learn how many types of signs go into one project. I also now notice all signs in every business I enter, my colleagues tell me I’ll never shake this moving forward.

How do you get to the bottom of what a client needs?

Understanding my client’s goals and collaborating with my team. There are literally decades of experience all around me, there’s really nothing that can’t be figured out. Curating knowledge and presenting options to clients on how to achieve their goals is key.

What are you looking forward to most as you join our team?

Being a part of the architecture and design community and having more opportunities to network with clients and colleagues in my community.

What do you enjoy doing outside of work?

Coaching tennis at Dowling Catholic High School, riding my bicycle, (including a few days of RAGBRAI) and wedding planning has me pretty busy this summer.
